I probably have rather a jaundiced view on the ability of men in particular to stay faithful (women aren't far behind but in general are a bit better). Guilt can be justified by saying that they have been left on their own. Unless you can meet regularly, you need to recognise that you are putting the relationship at great risk. It may be alright if it is for a defined period of only 6 months but if there is no end date in sight, then the chances of success in the relationship continuing diminish. Relationships need nurturing and that usually involves spending time with each other. Try to find other ways to follow your career and het a win win solution for you all. Sharlee
