My August

Well...For me August as a kid simply meant: my birthday!!
All my associations with August are positive. Even going-back-to-school ones... My wedding was in August too. It's funny... Because just these days I've been all excited and looking forward to August coming, realizing it's so near... And then I suddenly see your post, looking at August in a completely new light!

I guess I don't have that fear of the end of things. Knowing they ARE going to end is what makes me wake up and make the most of them. I might have 3 months vacation, and do nothing the first 2 months... Then the last weeks I cram tons of things in and don't stop... And I love every minute. No sadness! A month later though, I will look back at those last weeks with TONS of nostalgia! That's the stuff I love.
