Hi Wheeler,
Is it important to know whether you can suceed before you do this? THe main consideration should be 'will I be happy?" because success will follow happiness.

Although it is true that your father raised you & provided for you, the most important thing to consider is -what do you want to do? If your father loves you, he will want you to be happy, & he will see that the way you choose is the right way for you, even if it takes a little while. Also, if you are not enthusiatsic about this business, you might not make a great success at manageing it... & that wouldn;t be good for the business.

Seroulsy, if you take on the business, you will be spending all your waking hours occupied with it. That's what it means to work for yourself. WE only have one life on this earth. We owe it to everybody to make the best of it.

I'm just guessing you put this question on the list because you aren't too excited about running your dad's business.
