: How are you? I am fine. I am glad you are writing me a letter. I like writing letters. I like to talk about things I think about in my letters.
: As for cutting and pasting, I never liked crafts much. Elmer's Glue sure smells good. I could smell it for days. I can see why small children eat Elmer's Glue.
: Do you eat Elmer's Glue?
: Sincerely,

There was a girl in my first grade who sat in the seat in front of me in the row. She kept yammering all day in the classroom. I told her to be quiet and pay attention. When I got bored with her I glued her desk shut. I also glued her knapsack at the places where the snaps closed. She had pigtails. I thought about that too, but I passed.
Once at recess, I warned her that during the kickball game I was going to kick the ball right at her and make a welt on her leg. She didnt believe me.
When we were in the sixth grade I took her to the movies. We sat in the back row. When the lights went down, I kissed her and told her I was sorry for leaving a welt on her leg. We kissed some more.
