My male friends mostly revolve around my brother, meaning they're his friends who have adopted me as a little sister. I may or may not have had intimate relations with one or two (good christ i hope he's not reading this) but the majority I've never been attracted to and tis probably the same on their part. My other boyz i've met on a sexually neutral plane, i.e. the guys i was in a band with, the band i lived with, and those i met through theater. I'm their little power house chick and theyre my boyz. and yes, it is a sort of protective thing. shit, i use to have to run every guy i wanted to date through a groweling gauntlet commity before i could date'em. but my boyz first and formost know that i can and will take care of myself. and frankly they've done me a far better sevice than any guy I've ever intimately been with.
Plus i've always been much more comfortable around guys. I guess i could contribute it to growing up with a brother whos very close in age. But the truth is, i'm very critical of women. The female friends I have, I've had forever and I'll probably have them for life be cause they've past all of my exams. If a women doesn't first prove that she is a tripple C (capable, compitent and confident) the moment I meet her, I really don't care to focus on her. In the same breath, all my boyz's girl-friends usually HATE me or are at least completely intimidated by me, which is ironic because if there is anyone they should be the least afraid of and want to get in with, its me.
yea so i forgot my point. male friends rock. i like'em.
