I shouldn't have mentioned your name, you're right. Sorry.

But no way have I EVER said anything like that! Of course some women are more sexual than others. I agree that if I did say that or something like it (which I never did), it would be crazy for sure. But you'll find nothing in the archives where I ever say that. My guess is you are mis-remembering some sentence I wrote.

I just think that, even though many women here have said they are very sexual, the "mainstream" or most common attitude is like Sharlee described, how she can go for weeks without a sexual thought.

That Harvard study says that women with a college degree are 50% less likely to suffer from low sexual desire. What does this mean? Perhaps it simply means that the richer a woman is (college graduates tend to have more money in general than women with high school diplomas), the higher her sexual desire level is. Maybe.

An alternative explanation, which I like more, and which explains more, is this: having a college degree denotes some intellectual curiosity. Women who think are more likely to know themselves well, and are therefore likely to be more in touch with their sexuality.

You don't have a college degree, but you ARE a thinker. And you're in touch with your sexuality. Pretty much every poster here is a thinker, hence we get a lot of women who have strong libidos. If this was a sewing circle, not a psychology website, we'd presumably have much fewer thinkers and more women with low sexual desire.

: ...the only other thing that bothered me about your argument is how you consistently claim to know more about a woman's sexual desire than the women on this board. I don't care about the issue of women's sex drive vs. men's, it's just when you start getting goofy like that, which I'd get annoyed with no matter what the subject.

: "I have experience in this, whereas you only have studies and stats. I can tell you I am not like the studies or stats, and from the firsthand knowledge I have from my friends, they aren't either." -someone

: "YOU MUST BE LIKE THEM!!!!!!!! IT'S IN PRINT FROM HARVARD!!!!!!!!!!" -you

: Crazy.
