There's an excellent book on Anger... I can't think of the name of the author, but it's title is Anger - by a Buddhist Monk. Thich ___ something..
Nobody likes being around an angry person. I used to withdraw completely when my boss' anger showed up. It just scary and you don't know how to deal with it, so you walk away from it.
I'll see if I can't find the exact name of that book for you.
