P: My nilistic side is strong right now.
M: Then stop thinking negative thoughts.
P: 30 years and not married.
M: So? - I have 4 cousins in the mid thirties and forties who still aren't.
That doesn't mean they're not worthy.
They're still very good wholesome valuable people.
Plus I have an aunt who got married (for first time)at 39.
P: Its like an illusion. So many people are.
M: People are just people. We all make mistakes, fool ourselves, misguide, misunderstand us and others at sometime or other. It's part of our human nature: the *key* is in how we deal with it - productively & positively or negatively & for destructive pursuits.
P: Yet I'm not.
: So why not have some fun.
M: True, have fun, enjoy life, the world, other people - as long as it's healthy and no one gets hurt.
Note: If someone gets hurt in the process - it's not really "fun".
P: Everyone needs role models.
M: Agree.
P: Our role models are very strange ones indeed.
M: Our role models are whoever we choose them to be.
We have a choice - we can choose to look up to people such as M.L.King, Ghandi, Mother Theresa, Jesus, etc. or bad people who hurt others and destroyed life.
P: The sad thing is it would be easier to be ted bundy than w. beatty.
M: NO - there are very few people who can live with a dead conscience like Bundy did.
Most actors' consciences, although some very corrupt, are nowhere near the point of absolute decay like his was.
P: The arm in a sling thing works great. It attracts warm hearted, caring
: women. Like NF's, ESFJ's and other-oriented women.
M: Not really.
You can sense when someone is a little too eager to get sympathy. That always pulls up a red flag.
The women who fell for it ignored thier red flags and did what was the socially acceptable thing that most women are trained and encouraged by traditional society to do: that is I'm saying is that women are brought up to ignore their natural instincts regarding danger - must fight or flight signals - all for the sake of maintaining their "goodness" role.
This is a tragedy- which all parents must learn from and teach their daughters (and sons) to never fall prey to.
The only thing we as a society can do is to learn from that and move on from there.
P: Enough mental masturbation...time for bed. AFUCKINGLONE.
M: Good. Get some sleep. Get rid of the negativity and nihilism.
Stick with positive people and life-affirming thoughts and you'll be okay - you'll feel much better.
Life is not worth anger, hatred, bitterness, resentment.
Life is too short, fragile, precious, and valuable for that.
Why live an emotionally and spiritually bankrupt, decayed life?
Assess the real life quality of your gains and costs for living with a negative perspective vs. a positive one.
We can not control much resources, people, events, or much anything else in this world - and it may disappoint us if we allow to think about it - but the one thing we can control is how we see, feel and view life. Our attitudes, our goals, our perspectives, our decisions, our behaviours, our thoughts - we can control us - our worlds - and what we allow to go on in it.
That's the gift we are all given to have.
And it's so fragile, short, and precious - we don't have time to waste it away and take it for granted - we just don't.
Get some sleep and be well Perceiver - you'll come out of the "storm" soon - just decide that the rewards are much the more greater for the doing so, that's all.
