we are all single. It would be interesting for everyone to
spend a weekend together in a lodge. To see who paired up.
In real life!
We share so much here. If I were a millionaire I would buy
everyone plane tickets and we would all meet.
: : LOOK, PERCEIVER,
: : READ THIS:
: : ***NO ONE WANTS TO MARRY ME EITHER!***
: : ALRIGHT??
: : GOT THAT??
: : NO ONE WANTS TO MARRY ME EITHER DANGIT!
: : NO ONE!!
: : OKAY?!! GOT THAT?!!
: : Feel better now? Knowing that you're not alone in the world?
: : That there are others who feel just exactly as rejected as you?
: : Look. We're both stuck. 30 and 31 and not married, no kids.
: : Okay, so big deal? So we deal with it, you know? We're both grown-ups about this whole thing, right? (Right.) We can handle this - it's not like we haven't been able to handle anything else - right? (Right.)
: : So - let's just 'chill out', calm down, and take it easy on ourselves.
: : There are lots of people out there in unhappy marriages with kids they don't even want.
: : Think about it this way - had we had all rushed right into it - we could have been one of them.
: : But we're not. We both waited to find someone who is interested in aproaching building a family together slowly, but surely, steadily, and for the long term, not short term.
: : When you think about it - we did not do such a bad thing after all.Okay?
: : And we'll both get there someday. Someday we'll find someone interested in us - someone who's interested in us enough to hold out for the long term - which is what we have both been waiting for anyway.
: : Meantime, we just need to be strong, that's all. And what I mean by strong is strong enough to love others and not get all caught up in our selfishness, that's all.
: : Take care,
: : Things will get better,
: : They always do,
