You are always welcome Emily!!!

I am interested in exploring LiveJournal. Is that LiveJournal.com? I am going to try that and see. Yep, that's it. I am going to see what it is like, who knows, maybe, I can do it too. Thanks for the encouragement. My boyfriend likes it too, so I figure, let me see what the fuss is about. LOL You have convinced me that this is worth looking into and perhaps, joining in on the fun too. Maybe, I can tell people about my creative projects adventure or share my philosophical thoughts.

I always wonder what do people do that sit around and do nothing? It looks like they are staring at the wall and at each other. I know for a fact all those people who sit and do nothing are not all introverts. Extroverts do that also. I know some people just want to keep up an image, like one of my former boyfriends. One friend seems to be just paranoid and just watches her surrounding and maybe, she thinks about how she is going to spend more money and where to shop next. LOL Another friend loves staring at people with her big eyes with no shame, and she admits, she is nosey. LOL Some people looks so miserable sitting and doing nothing, forcing themselves to be conformists. That is not me.

In doctor's offices, I would do logic puzzles, talk to people who are near me that seems interesting, especially if there hardly no people in there, write letters, journalling, read a book, look, etc.... If I am going to sit around doing nothing, I rather be home in my own private space. I don't see why I should come out in public to do nothing that does not make any sense to me. I don't think those friends and family is doing nothing, even if they are silent. They are doing things, like watching other people doing nothing and trying to maintain and image by being concerned about how they look to other people. LOL

I know when I see my type 5w4 friends in various places (non students), I find them isolated reading a book, until I come around them, then they are more sociable and funny. I never seen a 5, just sit and do nothing. They have too active of a mind to sit and do nothing. They love learning or stimulating their minds with books from what I can see. I know they are also avoiding mundane people. I guess, they open up to me because I am a little eccentric in my persona. I can dress normal and still be eccentric. LOL I miss those 5w4 guys.

It sounds like you are proud of your mother for being so courageous. She sounds like a positive role model for her children, in that respect. Is she the reason why you are persuing education too? Is that what is in your heart to do? Is that you or Cathy that wants to go to Alaska? One of my 5w4 friends went there this summer.

I have to go and email Tom Chou concerning information that can enhance his research on the Enneagram. I have noticed that 9 and 2 rarely marry each other. In that group of 49 female type NINEs, they mostly married 8 type THREEs and 10 type SIXes. And one of them actually married a 2. Is it because NINE women are so actracted to strenght? What do you think of this?

Thanks for the yellow flower of friendship! @};-

> > Personally, I think Emily is not fidget, but than again, I do not know Emily well enough to give a factual statement. So, could you give me some insight to why you say Emily is fidget and uneasy with her life, unless she is doing something productive?

> It's not true what he says, people just like to say stuff out of their own boredom, I'm sure. I actually never get bored...because having nothing to do doesn't bore me. I actually prefer having nothing to do. I'm not one of those 7s who has to be moving and talking and going all the time because they're so scared of being bored. I enjoy just sitting around and not having any external stimulation. It revitalizes me. It's the introvert in me, I'm sure...

> > I know I am planning on going back to school and study more computer courses and hope to make a lot of money like my boyfriend does, maybe not as much since I am not willing to take up Calculus and Trig!

> Good luck!!!!!! Going back to school takes a lot of courage! My mom did it when she was 38 years old, and at times was working 3 jobs plus part time school. She FINALLY graduated in 2000, the same year I graduated high school. Now she's 49 and working on her Master's Degree in Education!

> > Is it the openness of sharing her journal and personal life with others bothers you, like it does Ryan? Perhaps, some people want to share their lives with others.

> I LOVE my journal, and I love reading other people's journals. It's actually really fun, too! For the most part you aren't searching for random people's journals all the time, it's people you know. I'm watching my friends' babies grow up, and we can keep up on each other's lives without having to try to remember what's all happened in the last 3 months in a phone conversation later. The community boards on LiveJournal are the absolute best I've ever seen anywhere on the net. I have learned SO much since registering for LJ...you wouldn't believe it. It's a great resource, and a great way for introverts to interact! Yah I know some people like Ryan are annoyed that people have online journals, but I don't care. It doesn't annoy me, and actually enriches my life and keeps me in touch with my friends...that can be so hard sometimes.

> Here's a yellow rose of friendship for you, Flower Pagan!
