Yes, this seems to be true of the Internet in general...which leads me to believe that a large percentage of people are moronic and/or offensive, particularly when they have a sense of anonymity. But this shouldn't be news to anyone who has observed other humans.

This site is no worse than others, and somewhat better than most IMO.
