I think I do both, the extroverted thing of adjusting to my external situation, and I also evaluate to see if the situation matches my internal expectations. If the situation matches my internal expectations or I feel comfortable, then I don't mind adjusting to my external situation and have fun with people. There are times, I would struggle between my desires of being sociable around other people, with my desires to stay home and enjoy my own peaceful environment, especially if I have nothing in common with the people and don't have the energy to adjust to the situation.

I am truly an ambivert, because I really go both ways. I use to push myself to be extroverted, even when it causes me anxiety. I have learned to accept my introverted side as well and honor my ambiverted nature. I am still learning more about myself. With you around, you can share more of your insight as I share with you my experiences, if you want to.

I try to keep my shyness hidden. It is embarrissing if a guy can charm me into blushing openly. They think it is cute and keeps it up. I push my energy from my 8 wing and the contraints of my 1 wing to appear more like a 7 in public. I don't mind if nice people discover my child-like playfulness. I am beginning to mellow out more, since there is no pressure to keep it up. I want to hybernate for the winter and wake up for the spring and embrace the rebirth of the season and enjoy people, nature and animals. Just embrace the beauty of life.

So Pork are you a ENFJ, like my best friend? I test ENFP, but they seem to process information differently than I do, so it seems. They can read between the lines (sometimes where there is none to read), instead of taking what I say or do at face value or literal. One of my friends struggle over doing a logic puzzle from my book one day, and I was wondering why this girl with such a very high IQ can't do it. To my amazement, I discovered she was reading into things, instead of taking things at face value when the book was very literal. Once I clarify something to her, she could do it with no problem. If things are too literal, they won't get it, and I am the opposite. If things are too figurative, I won't get it. I have been wondering about this for about a year or two. I think it is because their minds are far more creative then mines in a way.

What is your scores on www.9energies.info/test/ ? I scored 9 with a balance of both wings. I guess, I am going to accept that I am tired and allow myself to go to bed. I know when I lay in bed when I am sleepy, I fall out within seconds. LOL

Flowers for the authenticity of Mikko and Pork. Always be you, regardless of what you are on the Enneagram and MBTI. Bart, I will re-read what you wrote. I may have misinterpret what you wrote, if I did, I am sorry. I am not good at figutive writing in most cases, I am sorry. I do feel bad that I suck at it, unlike my close friends. I don't envy them, I just accept that is my flaw and live with it and focus on my strengths that I do have and depend on them for that.

> I do the former - I tend to adjust myself to my external situation. Of course, my strongest Judging (i.e., decision making) function (Fe) is extraverted. Does that explain my tendency?

> Good to see that your mind is still fresh on this material after all these years. Have you decided what M-B type you are yet? ;)
