I was at a punk gig recently and got into a get-nowhere argument with a vegan who, as you put it, needed a slap something vicious. That's what brewed up the rant.
I forgot about it for a month, then I saw your livejournal entry and it reminded me that I had a veganism rant to post. But it's not about you, more about the impossible-to-reach people who often flock to veganism.
That said, I will now read the rest of your post and comment appropriately.
