: This post is mainly to Gigi.

: 'If you want to be active somewhere you have to play by the owner's rules. If you don't want to, then you either try to solve the issue with that person or you leave the place. The last thing you would be doing is complaining.'

: If you have something to complain about and want to solve that issue with another person, what other way is there but complaining about it? I think it's fairly well established that trying to talk about this with Jan on the movieboard will just lead to deletion of the messages. I don't know if he would reply via email, but I have my doubts. In any case this issue involves more than two people.

: Not saying anything is usually taken as a sign of agreement. If someone doesn't agree with Jan's style, the only option for them is to say something about it. I might just as well add at this point that I don't agree with his style. In that message I wrote on his board and to which Perciever refers to, I asked "Is that a picture of that girl? [nt]" What in that message warrants its deletion? If I posted a message on the mainboard about some random girl and embedded a picture of myself to it, I'd be amazed if people didn't wonder what's going on.

: There have also been occasions where Jan has misread something in a message, replied to it and then got a reply himself, which points out the error. Now, in my opinion the reasonable thing to do would be to admit the error, correct your own comment and leave it be. But Jan decided it's better to delete the whole message and pretend it never existed. What's all that about? I think that in the end the questions that remain are:

: -are everyone else allowed to post messages about other people while posting their own pictures in them?

: -will Jan do a favour for other posters and delete threads containing valid messages, if someone misreads something and posts a faulty message?

: -will Jan start providing typings that reflect life more than tabloid newspaper stories and similar resources?

: -*this is a bonus one* why does Jan assume an image of an all-knowing profiler who doesn't have to leave room for errors, because he doesn't make any?

: I know I probably won't get replies to those question, but I'm just wonderin'
