: : Smart girls get tatoos because:
: : 1. Self-expression-- a calling card saying: this is what I am, deal with it

: ***Again I think its a very superficial way to express oneself. I assume you are a 1-8-9, the triad which has
: issues with being unimportant and therefore must be bold.

Why is it superficial? What constitutes a meaningful way of expressing oneself? If I draw on a piece of paper, it's meaningful but if I draw on my own skin, it's superficial? Nonsense.

I am a type five. I do not have a tattoo but understand why others might have one.

: : 2. As demonstration that they own their own bodies/sexuality
: : 3. They like motorcycles and leather too
: : 4. They know they have a nice body and want to accentuate it

: ***Unless I am mistaken everyone owns their own bodies unless they are a slave. And since the tattoo cost money the
: tattoo artist owns that small portion of their bodies which the person surrendered for the rest of their life.
: I dont think tattoos have anything to do with sex. What I do think is that guys seeing a chick with a tattoo would say...This
: chick is wild enough to pay a sweathog to puncture ink into her skin therefore she must be wild enough to fuck me on the
: first date and fuck me wildly. So...tattoed chick = slut!

Obviously, you are unaquainted with the concept of the male gaze and body ownership--> yet you respond to it subconsciously. When you say "tattoed chick = slut" you are claiming it is the male perspective and interpretation of the female body that determines it's purity or value. This is exactly the reason a woman may feel compelled to assert ownership of her own form.
