Hello Everybody:
Jan 's message on devopling unused styles, got me to finally start posting these " commandments ". They come from the book, " Type Talk At Work ", by Otto Kroger with Janet Thuesen; paper, Tilden Press Book, 1993. The 10 commandment are chapter 4....

For each commandment I will use caps, with a brief explanation. The authors run a pyschological consulting company using MBTI & the 16 types....

Commandment # 1. LIFE TENDS TO SUPPORT OUR PERFERENCES, MAKING US EVEN MORE DISTRUSTFUL OF OUR NONPREFERENCES. An example would be a group of people are caught in a crisis. The Aggressive style people were glad to take charge & help out, the Self-Sacrificing that they could be service to others, and the Vigilant that they saw what was happening & were able to avoid danger! We think that our own styles enables us to perform best! Rich
