Hello Jan:
It would seem that the Idealist only partly corresponds to Millon's Voguish Depressive. They have the " realization " that life is harsh, and has to be endured. But the narcissistic pride in seeing the reality of life's hopelessness, and the contempt for people who don't realize it, seems to be missing. There is an ad here in California, that really fits the Voguish Depressive; " Life is harsh, your tequla shouldn't be! " ( tequla is a Mexican liquor ) Rich
