Hello Jan:
This Ansir profile is a perfect example of why, I think that Ansir is a waste of time and money. The basic Idealist prototype is the the dour old farmer, that Oldham mentions. Ansir adds an American archtype-the cracker barrel philosopher. This character comes in from the farm, goes to the general store, sits by the stove, and as he muches crackers from the barrel, holds forth. On things he knows about, he has common sense observations and suggestions. Since he doesn't know too much about the big, wide world, his talk about it is mostly rubbish! ( Holland, isn't that the country next to Norway? They have mighty cold winters! )
Personally, I think that Riso does a much better job of using the Idealistic Serious as the 9W1, and Riso didn't get that from Oldham! Many of them are happy, and pleasant to be around. My mother was a 9W1/ESFJ ( matching Naranjo! ) She matched Riso, not Ansir.... She was slow & steady, cheerful, serene, when younger had sudden bursts of anger. People said that she was nice person to be around. I'm sure that you have people that match the Ansir profile, I know I have.... But, I have several family members and have meet other people who are the Idealistic Serious as 9W1 ! Rich
