There is a very good match between Gill and the character style named 'sensitive style' by dr. Oldham. We find with Oldham the fear of the unknown; triggering detailed pre-planning and rigidity (E6-ish and also E1-ish!), the reserved, shy facet which combined with the social need (no E5!) causes depression and longing. I guess most enneagrammists call this E4, some would call it E5. I've added this case study because I it shows the power of the Oldham typology.
