: : We find her also the key to my discussion with Dafyd regarding type 2. I label Oldham's PT-type called 'Dramatic Style'(histrionic) as E2 (thereby following the example of Claudio Naranjo):

Unfortunately, Oldham's book does not describe the same types as the enneagram does.

Hmm; your provoking writing style is Kafka-esque. Lets see:

a. You make a mistake in thinking that there is A enneagram, or THE enneagram. When you compare the ennea-writers; almost every writer seems to paint another portrait. Thats very confusing; as you can see on the board when even with well known personalities like Madonna there is absolute confusion regarding her E-type. (which is an insoluable puzzle since there is no standard E-type)

b. I don't see the e-gram-theories as means in itself; its just 'one' of the many tool. So don't see it as a problem that there is no standardised E-typology; there are more roads that lead to the truth. The only thing that matters is naming the definition YOU use when typing. I like using both the Naranjo version of the E-gram and the Oldham system; which have so much in common (but of course are not the same)
