There are two types of iNtuition in Type: iNtuition in the extraverted (outer) form, and iNuition in the introverted (inner) form.
Introverted iNtuitives (INFJs) are more inclined to have visions when they are disconnected from the outer world, and their visions may seem to have little or nothing to do with "reality." Those who experience iNtuition in its extraverted form tend to experience their perceiving as an "emergent" experience in the moment, usually with other people. Ergo, it is NFPs who tend to display greater ability in psychic arenas than NFJs.
More on this available from this site:
Keirsey did not do INFJs any favors by claiming they (we) have ESP -- gawd do you know how many people want to be so-called rare INFJs with psychic powers now? :-P
