I tought Jen was quite a 4w3, at least to start with. But I like Michelle Yeoh's character better. ;D
: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
: Jen’s life is fascinating; she’s mischievous, rebellious, wrecking havoc in many different lives, willfully, stubbornly, whimsically, Jen has a taste for adventure, inclination to get herself into fights, no care for social conventions, energetic, agressive, doesn’t want to ‘capitulate’ to marriage, elusive smile and coolly mischievous eyes which allways keep us guessing, mingling with soldiers and learning to handle their weapons, longing for independence and craving for freedom (so much that she even doesn’t seem to really want to commit herself to her great love Lo, unconsciously thinking marriage could be a prison), stealing the sword,
: her multiple allusions to adventure books she has read and her hero-worship of Michelle Yeoh’s character betray a need for strong new stimuli and challenges. She chases new thrills (Lo, stealing the sword, leaving home), but doesn't know what she really wants (e.g., doesn't want Lo back; is in tears when she visit Yeoh after kicking some butt in the restaurant). She is a big but confused ego; only eight-year old and full of deceit, deceiving her master, kicking men’s but, almost narcistically calling herself ‘The Invincible Sword Goddess’….
: I would say that Jen probably represents the ESTP type in MBTI code and Adventurous Style in Oldham, with Mercurial Style traits.
: (PS The evil Jade Fox seemned like a Vigilant Style character.)
