I think us guys, atleast me, have more of a tendency to flirt with a blonde before a brunette. We see them more as trampie play objects, atleast I do, even though I have to remind myself to keep an open mind.
They once did a controlled experiment where they got a group of dark haired girls and observed them sitting in bars, etc, to see how many guys approached and flirted with them. Then they dyed the girls' hair blonde and sent them out again. As you may have guessed, they got approached more when they were more blonde, backing up the stereotype that "blondes have more fun."
