Thought I'd have my own go at this...

A cult British comedy sci-fi series - it's gone off the boil a bit now, but the earlier series were pretty good...

The characters are somewhat extreme, so this is a bit less than serious, but...

The Cat - 7

Completely vain and self-absorbed. It's this self-absorbtion that means he isn't a 3 - 3s are probably more concerned with impressing other people, whereas the Cat's vanity seems to be directed at himself...

Dave Lister - 9w1?

Seems to be pretty easygoing, imagines his life instead of living it, very much a 'drifter'. Has a slight moralistic/philosophical streak that the others don't...

Kryten - 2w3?

Seems to change as the series goes on. Openly prideful about his 'service' role - he essentially keeps the rest of the crew together...

Arnold J. Rimmer - 6???

Ridiculously authoritarian, loves to quote regs. Acts like a counterphobic, except when real danger threatens, when he becomes phobic - "I'm only going to say this once, so you had better listen up... We surrender - utterly and without condition..."

So, what do the others think?

Peter
