Did you notice that Rose has trouble speaking up? She starts, holds back, conjures up enough will to get her voice out, looks away coyly from the person she's facing, delivers her statement in a stressful, stilted manner, then holds back and looks away again. It's a great effort for her to express herself. Very Four-with-Three-like.
"A woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets." Another Four-like comment.
"He saved me, in every way a person can be saved." Ditto.
(Aside from the point: the "deep ocean of secrets" line is often cited as one of the worst lines of dialogue in the film. But I think it's fair enough. In case you may be curious, my choice for worst line goes to the third-class Irish boy: "You'd as like have angels fly out of your arse as get next to the likes of her.")
