: : 7s - generally S - a lot of real-world involvment, but (depending on who you read) however - there's the 7s interest in possibilities and connections (N), and their way of escaping pain by looking forward to the future or reminiscing about happy past events (N)...

: Most of the Sevens I know are N. That probably says more about the number of Ss I know
: that the number Ss who are Sevens though.

Now you come to mention it, out of the two people I know well enough to confidently type as Sevens, one is definitely N (his catchprase is "The possibilities are endless!"), and the other is probably an N...

Still, the point I was trying to make is that different enneatypes will draw on different aspects of S and N. There's a lot of N to 7s, but there's also the 7s tendency to go in for more 'here and now' activities than some other types. Maybe I was confusing S with E here, but there does definitely seem to be something of the SP temprament about 7s...

Oh, and about Ss - I don't _know_ that many Ss outside of my family either...
