Since I believe that an extroverted E4 is a contradictio in terminis (since introversion amongst others is very linked with INTENSITY in contrast with superficiality which is linked to extraversion); I feel that many times an E2 is wrongly typed as E4. I have to admit two mistakes I have made on this forum:
Reading the last comments on Alley McBeal from an INFJ contributor on the stress response of E4's and E5's(withdrawing) to this board only strenghten me in this view.

1. Rose in Titanic is not really a withdrawning E4 but very lively and having a lust for life; her depression results from it being restrained by the E1 culture she lives in. She really is a femme fatale; a seductive woman who is desperate for love and acts hysterical when she thinks she doesn't get it. Her rescuing of Jack is the rescue of her love provider; this is the martyrdom often linked with E2.
2. I've wrongly typed the extravert femme fatale called the proud and pretending Helen Sinclair character in Bullets on Broadway as E4; however her drama is the hysteria which fits E2; she wants to be the center of attention and gets hysteric when she's not.
3. Shooting from the hip: the spoiled genteel African prince who wants to choose his own wife, which Eddy Murphy played in COMING TO AMERICS is an E2 who grows emotionally.

Anybody else who knows movies with similar Spoiled Prince/Princess characters? Let us know, please.

Jan
