Clues for Rex: He is ready to discuss problems with a therapist. Brought process motivation to therapy. History of positive experiences in psychotherapy. He has anxiety in public-speaking situations. Performance anxiety. Wants to feel greater sense of control and assurance in these situations. Anger, rage- real issue. Breaking windows, damaging self. Afterwards feelings of guilt. Before expressing an opinion I begin to be quite self-concious. If I endow even another individual with this critical, judgmental, powerful kind of critiquing role capacity, I would be more at ease. He always felt he is not meeting his own expectations. High ambitions for himself. The stakes are high: A kind of superbowl in which he had to do well, to vanquish or to be vanquished. He does better with defined task. Limbo state of uninvolvement and unrecognition with father was intolerable. >If it wasn't for the positive performances with therapy, the rage, and the anxiety (plus heavy heart rate and heavy perspiration- panic attack?) I would not be able to say if Rex was 1 or 3. As a whole with his picture I am almost sure he is 1. Clues for the father: Lack of focus, lack of memory, indifference, lack of awareness, non-involvement with Rex except in competitive situations, unstable, not so predictable, alcoholic. These point out that he is a 9 with access to 3 and 6. Gigi
