This is valuable feedback for the forum participants.
The sources you asked for:
1. The astrology decoder; product of Dynamo House, Australia; isbn 0949266418
2. The secret language of symbols, by David Fontana (good book!)
3. Gods in Everyman, by Dr. Shinoda Bolen
Considering the messy character of today's commerical astrology I am surprised by the common ground in our reviews! Perhaps it will never be able to make a match with the enneagram because its a fancy personality system? I've thought of E5 for Aquarius; but I've read about moralism related to this sign in the astrological literature; and don't forget: its really the sign of Neptune/Poseidon; the fierce and easy to anger god. When you read Bolens well researched book there is no doubt it's E1. I also used Bolen's research when allocating the enneatypes to Ares (Aries) as E6. Perhaps we shouldn't spend more energy on matching the systems because it's so easy to get into useless esoteric discussions? (anybody who thinks the match CAN be made is still welcome to make his/her contribution to the board of course....)
