Not a 7 or 4 or 5 because they would, again mostly, be creative thinkers. I lead groups too and I am like the person you describe above, except that I am not that self-disciplined and am more relaxed than a figure of authority. I go along with the group, creating fun while at the same time leading them to an end result. I watch everyone of them closely and I feel with them- bored, excited, enthusiastic, tired, sceptical. I can get the group up and high and in the direction I want- almost immediately. I have never, never given a passive and uninteresting workshop or presentation performance before an audience, accepting that I know my topic and that they are there for that topic. Now this is a 3 thing (which I realized after I learned about the Egram). So you would have to know more things about the person above to type it. Gigi
: Start your little grey cells up and try to guess the enneagram-type hidden in this case description of Mr. Coordinator. Post your answer after having read the text; so that we can have some discussion. The character is described behaving in an office/business context. : Mr/Mrs. CO-ORDINATOR : He/she sees most clearly which member of the team is strong or weak in each area of the team's function, and they focus people on what they do best. They are conscious of the need to use the team's combined human resources as effectively as possible. This means they are the one who establishes the roles and work boundaries of the others and also who sees gaps and takes steps to fill them. : He/she talks easily and is easy to talk to; a good communicator in the two-way sense, neither a compulsive talker nor a person of few words', but certainly a good listener. : It is Co-ordinator who clarifies the group's objectives and sets its agenda; he/she selects the problems for the teams consideration and establishes priorities, but does not attempt to dominate the discussion. Their own early contributions are more likely to take the form of questions than assertions or proposals. They listen, they sum up group feeling and articulate group verdicts, and if a decision has to be taken, they take it firmly after everyone has had their say. : Now; what's your answer? Give it a try! : Jan
