The characters analysed (or is it ennealyzed?): show presenter TIM - E7 endlessly joking, self-satisfied, very imaginative but less practical, somtimes with clumsy acts as a result, easily bored by All's E3 acts; need of variety and intellectual stimulation. demonstrating d-i-y er ALL - E3 showy spotlight grabber, hard worker (in contrast to commenting onlooker Tim), practical, no nonsense E3, 'can do' mentality (which with some E3 leads to 'can't do' because they get superficial in doing the job; the result of their over-confidence and sometimes lack of originality; they seem to learn by imitating succesful arm movements etc.) Somehow D0-IT-Yourself has a very E3-ish aura on it. (E6's like to do it too but their results can often be compared with Mr. Bean his works) Tim's wife - E6 she worries, befriends her sons, doubt her capabilities and over-reacts panicky. All's female assistent on the show - E9 Kelly Bundy look alike character; seductive by her tolerance and compliance (of course she's mis-used by All, who dates her and she can't say no, a common problem with E9's) Tim's son MARK - E4 Feels sad, dissatisfied, dramatizes the 'misery' of his need of wearing glasses, tormented aura. Tim's son BRAD - E7 Brad makes a nice contrast with Mark; over-optimistic, teasing in a direct brash way and narcissistic. neighbour - E7 same sort of joking character as Tim, but a more clever person.
