: I have no idea what the historical Shakespeare was. : In the film, however, Shakespeare looks like a clear Four. (He writes about emotions, resents Marlowe slightly, : who is the more famous writer, acts on his emotions ignoring personal danger, etc.) : Ditto, Viola, with whom he falls in love. (It's a classic Four-Four pairing, intense and both parties know that : it can't go anywhere.) : Lord Wessex, whom Viola is to marry, dunno. He could well be an Eight - he's upfront and open about his motives, : and challenges people when he thinks he's losing face. I'm not sure about the scene in the church after Marlowe : is killed, however...
