Wow, first I see that you saw Three Colors, and over on the 4 board you're talking about Truman Show and Life is Beautiful.... and now you mention Blanche DuBois, the character in Streetcar Named Desire, which amazingly was one of the movies we selectied for our little movie marathon!

I think I'll respond to everyhing here. I haven't seen many of the movies that you mentioned... I am a fan of Jimmy Stewart, although I haven't seen too many of his movies... As a 4w5, some of my "favorite" movies are: The Truman Show, Life is Beautiful, Red, The Sting...I can't think of many others, but there they are.

I thought "Red" was one of the most beautifully written movies and most beautifully filmed movies I've ever seen. Wonderful... and that was before I saw either White or Blue. The problem was that our copy of "Blue" was defective, and when we went to get another copy of it at another store, that one was defective too! But even alone, Red was an AMAZING movie. It really blew me away and inspired my friend and I to try and write a movie one ourselves again..

Richmond Heights, Ohio, is where I live...

Once again, your thoughts amaze me...

: Why might the following characters attract a 4-2-6:
: Catherine Sloper, The Heiress
: Blanche DuBois, A Streetcar Named Desire
: Norma Desmond, Sunset Boulevard
: Are any of these 4's themselves? I have not yet read any enneagram literature. Plan to this summer. I like Jimmy Stewart. What type was his character in Harvey? I think I am drawn to movies about descending into madness, great personal losses, and societal decay. I was moved by the Magnificent Ambersons. Movies like Schindler's List carry it almost too far for me. I was almost physically ill after that.
