Psychopaths, my favorite!

Okay, so I'm interested in psychopaths. :} I've heard of Alexander Koryakov before, too, so that just makes things easier.

When you're looking at serial killers and mass murderers, you can almost assume that they'll be Threes, Sixes, or Eights. I'd never say that they /all/ are, because that would be limiting, but I've found it to be generally true, in fiction as well as reality. (I still want to post something about fictional psychopaths, but I haven't gotten around to it.)

Now, this guy, with his frank, coldly controlled confession, his almost drooling desire to achieve fame through his actions, and his threats ("If they hadn't caught me, I would have tried to keep killing") screams psychopathic Three to me. I've studied a number of them, and many of them sound like this. Of course, Alexander here could also be an unhealthy 6-to-3 (after all, he says that this action made him "feel like a hero,"), but that's hard to tell from a short statement like this one. At the very least, he has a Three's bravado. So Three or Six is my opinion.

Yay! I'm glad you brought this up, Patrick. That might sound sick, but I find these kind of people fascinating to analyze. :}

Cheers,

Areia

: Check out the top story at http://www.exile.ru:8101/dp/index.htm which has a confession of a child killer? What do you think of this guy (I'm not even going to venture a guess on this one)?
