It seems that Oldham distinguishes between the slavish fobic E6 (dependent) and the counterfobic assertive rebellious E6 with his vigilant style. I think vigilant survivor would be a good way to describe Mel Gibson (the crocodile hunter is an adventurer; he likes the danger; Mel doesnt)
