: I've read some more elaborate texts about the western solar signs; and I'll totally agree now with Derf's matching effort. So it IS possible! This inspired me to take on the much older Chinese animal astrological signs. I've used Catherine Aubiers' Zodiaque Chinois (M.A. editions, Paris) based on the Vietnamese version since the French had colonial roots in Vietnam (remember Dien Bien Phu?). Here's my educated guess:

: Snake: E1
: Goat: E2
: Cock: E3
: Dragon (the only fantasy animal!): E4
: Cat: E5
: Dog: E6 (loyalty!)
: Rat: counterfobic E6 (risk taker)
: Horse: E7 (freedom)
: Tiger: E8
: Buffalo: E9
: Hog: E9

: When you disagree with one or more of my matches; let me know then we'll exchange arguments regarding the descriptions of the signs.

: Hope we'll get the same consensus as with the Western Zodiac!

: Let us know if you can (dis)agree.

: Bye for now.

: Jan
