in Holland I use the FFPI which is indeed extremely defined in 'good' and 'bad' poles. But the Big Five questionnaires are also superior to the MBTI because they define the level of the traits compared to a normal distribution of a comparable group; like females, higher educated, USA. That makes these tests of course more expensive. There is an intriguing book (in Dutch) build around a matrix of the big five traits which gives an added dimension; you find your most extreme trait, and the second most; you look in the matrix and find lots of describing keywords; how people would describe you. I am 'philosophical, complex and contemplative'; wow!
