CATHY - E7
She is playful, optimistic, leaves Heathcliff because she finds him boring and negative and she says this to him (an E2 would not be that explicit; in order not to hurt sensitive people); she rationalizes her new relation with Linton; it would bring her the money to save Heathcliff from poverty. Also she looses contact with reality because of her foolish over-optimistic mindset: she thinks Linton (E1!) would have peace with a kind of triangular relation.
