MONICA Lewinsky's behavior is so bizarre that friends fear she's at the end of her rope. The 26-year-old former White House intern is lonely and depressed, sometimes wears the same clothes for several days, talks to herself and
collapses in tears at the drop of a hat. Monica is flghting a losing battle to shed more weight in her Jenny Craig deal. Her handbag business is floundering and she still owes huge legal bills stemming from the Bill Clinton scandal. She's under the care of a psychiatrist -and says she can't find a boyfriend who doesn't "just want sex." Her only companion is a raunchy MTV comedian who recently brought her to his native Canada and publicly humiliated her by making her take part in a self-promoting press event in freezing cold temperatures on a restaurant rooftop! "Monica's a complete mess!" a friend declared. "She's spinning out of control and her weird antics with this disgusting comedian are only a cover as she falls deeper into crisis. "It's horrible. She went from the President to a guy who's known for toilet humor." Monica met wacky MTV comic Torn Green, 28, through one of his producers, Jeff Boggs, who dated her briefly. For laughs, Green has sucked milk from a cow and played with animal road kill. The Comedy Network bas vetoed some of his segments in the past, including one in which he scooped human feces out of a toilet and carried it around a studio audience, and another where he beat a dead cow's head with a baseball bat.

Monica's naive accomodating 'altruism' towards people who misuse her fits very well with the character style described by dr. Oldman as 'self sacrificing/self defeating style'. It's almost masochistic; these people fear that they wil not 'belong' when they get assertive and focus on their own needs. Most enneagrammists would call this style E2 and some would label it E9.
Jeff Boggs; the nasty guy she is with seems to be a unfeeling provoking person doing everything to get public attention quickly; suppressing their fear of the risks they run by doing their brash acts to 'make things exciting and fun'. Jeff Bogs looks like those rude standup comedians or the makers of the South Park cartoon series. They sometimes rationalize their unresponsible behavior by claiming that they 'break taboos' Dr. Oldham calls this the adventurous/anti social style. Most enneagrammists would label it E7-8. (Patsy from the UK tv series Absolutely Fabulous is the ultimate extreme example of this style.)
When we look at the probable dynamics of the two character styles, its easy to see that Monica is in a very dangerous life lane now.
