MAVERICK - E3
Eager beaver; over-self-confident (and thereby dangerous, risk taker), goal focussed: intensely competes for the Miramar Top Gun trophy with Ice Man, showy act with MIG: he takes picture to prove his 'performance'; image builder, doesn't listen to collegues or boss because of his goal focus (E3's are often bad in cooperation in teams). His love affair with the instructor seems to be partly (unconsiously) induced by the challenge/game implied and the competitionwith/impressing his co-pilots.
COUGAR - E6 COUNTERFOBIC
At the one moment he seems over-confident and laughingly screams 'I'll clean him and fry him' when meeting the MIGS; but the next second he breaks down emotionally under the stress and nearly crashes because of his panick attack; he's completely stifled. Also dependent on his family (homesickness).
