: It's unlikely that she is an E9 since E9's make a 'warm' impression and will not be called ICE QUEEN.

Sure they could. Who told you that? Has the person who told you that ever heard of the Levels of Development? Do they know that it's possible to be less than "healthy?" I commend their idealistic naivete, but I must differ in respect to reality.

If only we lived in a world where Nines invariably made a warm impression. It would be like a world where all Ones were polite and had moral integrity, or where all Sevens were ecstatic.

And tell me, Jan, does this make ALL Fives "ice-blooded?" There we go again with that superstitious myth about "intellectuals," held mostly by simplistic people who don't understand and don't want to. Very few Fives I've known have been cold-hearted. They simply take the rap because of this bourgeois myth. You might note that I've been routinely attacking bourgeois myths that hog the space in your mind that might be used for true understanding of human nature.

So, here's the viewpoint I offer, intended to argue that E9 can't be dismissed as a possibility: Of all the types, Nines have the most trouble dealing with stress, and respond to pressure by becoming callous and disengaged.

The public eye stressed her out, and... well, again, that's just a possibility. A public/private split in people can be daunting, and with stars on the screen, especially of yesteryear, we can't really know.

: I see E1's typed as 'ice RABBIT' in the Dutch magazines; perhaps because in contrast with E9's in the E1 character fear is present (fear of being judged, of making mistakes.)

Is this the case in "healthy" and "average" Ones? Would you be content being called this?

Derf
