If one thing is sure is that is is 'ideosyncratic' in the literal meaning of this word.

I didn't think its so likely that an E8 would date by Internet and would be so stingy and un-generous to guests.....However I know an E8-4 (Oldham: agressive and mercurial) woman who when I am with her is so focussed on what SHE wants that she doesn't even seem to hear what I say to her; she simply is only interested in what she wants. She never gets coffee for collegues.... Of course this egocentrical behavior is repelling and she hasn't had a boyfriend for quite a long time. (I had a discussion with Dafyd some time ago on the forum in which I pointed out the egoism of many E8's which he thought 'were perhaps the warmest enneatype')

When I looked at a photo of Rick his eyes looked very much 'inward'; which is typical for introverts; couldn't he only have behaved extroverty? (ie no part of his underlying personality?

Rude joking, egocentric lying, dressing in strange clothes wife beating and polygamic instincts I've seen in many E8-ish too...and no social anxiety.....perhaps a peculiar subspecies of E8 indeed! Thanks for the feedback.
