: Is there any MBTI-veteran who can say something about my hypothesis that Batman represents the ISTP archetype? I've read Andy's message of a link between psychopatic persons and ISTP. I've seen many writers associate ISTP with E5 but I think there is a problem here in that E5's like to think things out before starting action and the ISFP is an on the spot troubleshooter loving risky and exciting situations; generating a 'who was that masked man'-feeling? Also the ISTP hates 'theorizing' and loves action (grease monkey using little words; like The Fonz in Happy Days; being a car mechanic). Also the natural talent for handling tools (like Marlboro man John Wayne) seems to suggest E8. My hypothesis II is that ISFP could be (counterfobic) E6. Anybody can say something sensible on my guestimates? I know an ISTP. He works in a factory. Have a huge weapon collection. Funny enough, he brags almost all the time, atleast when I am around. Intresting enough, I have never seen any woman around him, and kind of breaks My car mechanic (I do most of the stuff myself, but not everything) I had my new hopeless car at a other garage (to do some work on it that my mechanic refused But I think the best type at handling a car are an ISFP. I know an ISFP by the way. He are a probably 7w6 . He was testing hi's car......He had to take it to the max, but of corse...He had to I know two more ISTP-s, they bouth seems like a countherphobic sixes (finally) Yet the funny thing is of all the persons I have mentioned, I am probably Anyway....... I think batman was two persons...One with the mask......ISTP....
