I think Fight Club's a bit too violence. It's hard to bare. But I still like the message behind the plot.
Brad Pitt seems to be the Shadow Personality of Edward Norton. What Edward don't do in his nine-to-five life, Brad Pitt do. Brad Pitt seems to be quite good in the beginning, he's able to deliver Edward from his monotonous life. Edward find his lost energy when he stays with Brad Pitt.
However, once Edward has given up his own responsibility to life, the shadow personality can definitely possess him.
All of us have our shadow sides, it's a good idea that we can face our dark or opposite sides. Otherwise, if we leave our shadows unacknowledged, the shadows may get a chance to dominate us.
That's what I get from this movie. :)
