ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS (1993-1996) - very succesful British sitcom

Two middle-aged English tarts smoke, swallow, and bed everything in their paranoid paths, and are all the more fun for being unedited and abashedly vulgar.

The sitcom characters analyzed:

EDDY (played by Jennifer Saunders) - E6
Attacks of fear and panick, nervous wreck, blaming others (projection), excessive.

SAFFY - E5
She's 'minimalistic' in the way she dresses and eats ('tahu queen'), dry cynical humor, quiet observer. Her criticism is more or less provoked by the extreme behavior of her mother than based on internal resentment or crusading need, as it would be with E1's. (Dafyd; can we agree here??)

PATSY (played by Joanna Lumley) - E7
She must have a large desire for pleasure in her amygdala! She uses drugs, is a serial-smoker, and an alcoholic. Rude joker, impulsive speaker, man-izer (one night stands)

GRANNY - E9
'Narcotized'; and as such easy prey for the quick minds of the extroverted 'elder girls'.

MAX - E7?
He's promiscuous

BETTINA - E1?
Acidly critical and moralizing

JUSTIN - E9?
Easy going

Any comments??
