My typings:

"The Greatest Story Ever Told" - Max von Sydow - 9
"The Last Temptation of Christ" - Willem Defoe - 6
"Jesus Christ, Superstar" - ? - 4
"Jesus of Nazareth" - Robert Powell - 2
"King of Kings" - Jeffrey Hunter - 1

I can imagine that, given the chance, Tom Cruise would play him as a 3, Paul Newman as a 5, Nicholas Cage as a 7, Sean Connery as an 8.

Personally, I agree with an author named Novosek, who wrote a book suggesting that Jesus had transcended "type" and was a fully integrated person, which would explain why some of his behavior seemed contradictory. (He said, "Turn the other cheek," yet he expressed anger while upsetting the merchants' tables in the marketplace; upon his resurrection, he said to Mary, "Do not touch me," yet he invited Thomas to stick his finger in the spear wound!) Richard Rohr analyzes the Lord's Prayer enneagramatically and quite convincingly too! Could Jesus have been so fully conscious of his truest self that he could choose any characteristic he needed for any situation? I think the healthiest people among us do just that, though we may not transcend type fully (in one lifetime anyway).

And what of Buddha and his "middle path"?
