Reading on the evil one, hitler I inferred he was an ISTJ. Guesses for enneatype are 6w5 (look at the popular influence of the useless dunce 6 rush limbugh), or a 1w9 (anger, wisht to reform) : Baldur von Schirach (Discovery Channel documentaries - Hitlers Henchmen) : I saw only the latter half of the program (the first half describes the characters when they are young and this gives often more insight) so I am not so definite in my allocation of enneatype. Von Schirach was different from the other nazi's. Perhaps the best way to characterize him is 'servant leader'. He had great affinity with children, pushed himself to become Hitlers trusted friend, and based his power on the organization of the German youth in the Hitler Judgend; for which he had to talk a lot to Hitler who feared young people as potential chaotic elements. Initially his mental state towards Hitler was a kind of romantic love affair with the strong man whom he offered his services. Curious was also that he was one of the last to volunteer for going to the military front line (in France.) and when he did he demanded special privileges like a seperate living quarters. He was good at manipulating youth to develop a military mindset, but he was a dissident in condemning violence. Hitler saw his seductive talent and send him to Vienna as governour because the initial enthusiasm about the Anschluss had waned and they got weary with Hitlers power politics. Von Schirach behaved like a father and became more popular than his predecessor; nurturing (E2!) the culture and encircling himself with important artists. He was used by the nazi's as appeaser to compensate for the transportation of 6000 Viennese jews to death camps. A Vienna 'cleansed' of jews would be the present Von Schirach would offer as governor to Hitler in order to flatter/please him. He loved to visit his 'friend' in the Berghof, a pleasure which came to an end because his wife confronted Hitler with the cruelties towards the Amsterdam jews and Hitler distanced himself from Von Schirach somewhat. : I am inclined to think that E2 is the best guess for the character of Von Schirach; wanting to do favors to the important person and thereby becoming important too. : Jan
