Austrian FPO's politically un-correct leader Jorg Haider

The European community and Israel have declared a moral war on 'yuppie fascist' Haider. I think the estimate of Haider being a potential dictator and the international reaction is rather over-done; certainly when compared to the soft reactions towards Putin and Russia on the war in Tsjetsjenia. Haider's character is mainly opportunistic and situational. He's not a fanatic at all, just someone who has a marketing mind and understands that to win the political game in Austria he has to appeal to controversial emotional needs in the mainly conservative Austrian population. In order to enhance his chance he has removed the Germanic nationalistic ideology from the FPO and he doesn't make racist statements. He wants the FPO to be a 'constructive' power in Austria and declared that he wanted to go to Israel to have talk. His record shows that every time Haider is in reach of power he drops his radical populistic tone of voice and changes into a pragmatic conservative who wants to do business with foreign heads of state (unless they try to damage his image.) I think he's a clever and over-ambitious opportunistic E3 character, handicapped by his impulsive over-done attention getting political statements which he doesn't believe in himself. His criticism on the Belgian and French criticism even gives him more votes. But he's not a mini-Hitler. Putin, a probable E6 character is the real potential danger; but the European community fears Russia so much that they don't dare to boycot Russia.
