Greetings from the States! (Actully I hope this post is not repeated because something happened when I was writing it and it disappeared!) Anyway, I would like to comment on Hitler's Enneatype. According to his motivations he is definitely a 6, 6w5. Looking at his traits we might see obsessive-compulsive behaviors, lust for power, passion for architecture and opera, persuasion powers, stamina, rage, hysteria, rebellion, argumentativeness, fantasy, moodiness, undiscipline, lack of empathy, bravery, nervousness, uncooperativeness, even likable lover. But we all know by now that these do not define the person's type. Anyone could have those traits listed above. Then what were his motivations? Let us look at his life in short: From early on in life he was interested in art, architecture, AND German nationalism. He had strong pride in the German race. He became strongly anti-Semitic at the age of 21. He despised the Austrian empire because of its non-Germanic multi-cultural texture. So when he was roaming the streets of Vienna after he left school at 16 the seeds of racism were sewn. He escaped Austria to fight the war on the German side, for the German fatherland. This have him the sense of belonging and purpose he had been looking for. He volunteered for dangerous assignments. He was eager to please his superiors. He identified himself with German nationality. Therefore, when Germany lost WWI he blamed the Jews and labeled them as the "invisible foes of the German people" along with Marxists. After the war he was he was lecturing against dangers of communism and pacifism, against democracy, disobedience and against Jews. He built a strong nationalist, pro-military, anti-Semitic party. If you go through the doctrine of the Party it is full of sayings like "uniting the Germans," "creating Lebensraum," and "protecting them against other races." The flag: Swastika (representing the mission for the struggle of the Aryan man) in a white circle (national idea of the movement) on red background (social idea). Take his book.: "All culture is the product of the Aryan." "It is no coincidence that the first cultures arose in places where the Aryan in his encounters with lower peoples subjugated them and bent them to his will." "Lower cultures benefit as long as Aryan remains in absolute power and doesn't mingle." He accused Jews of international conspiracy to control the world, to spread Marxism, promoting prostitution. He promised to the German people to bring order to the chaos they were living, a feeling of unity, and the chance to belong.
He seeked to belong and to bring belonging to the Germans. He was a 6w5. What do you say? *:) Gigi
