Almost all the Mediterrean countries are as you have described above-

Reactive, lots of emotions and uninhibitedly showing them with free movements of arms and hands, raised voices, group reactions, siding with people in interactions, difficulty in being objective, group fun, people on the streets, people in front of their doors and in the windows watching passers-by, interfering with a complete stranger's behavior, commenting on everything, very political (The American on the street is oblivious to what is happening politically), so on and on.

Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, France (less so, arrogance steps in here). Call them counterphobic 6 if you wish. I know Turkey is. But Turkey is also a friendly, hospitable 6w7 with 3 and 9 tendencies. Relaxed. "Fate dominates so sit back and enjoy!" (This comes from the religion.) Plus: "Let me have a go at this, earn quick money, and then pass on to something else!"

Forget the Germans. They are a different breed!

I really would like to hear from somebody about the German culture and how it fits the Enneagram!
